You are anything but run of the mill.
You want wedding invitations, stationery, or business cards that fully express your personality. And a little wow factor for the recipients doesn’t hurt either.
If you are looking for something fresh, lovely, and uniquely you . . . you are in the right place.
Welcome to Green Quince
Custom design and letterpress printing are the specialties of the house. Everything is designed in-house and all of the letterpress pieces are printed by hand using an antique letterpress printing press. (You can see an example of letterpress printing in action here. It’s pretty cool.) For a great budget option, flat printing is also available.
Better yet, Green Quince is focused 100% on eco-friendly paper goods.
I love solving design dilemmas with intelligent and beautiful designs. Ask about the DNA-theme invitations I designed for a pair of brilliant scientists. True story.
In addition to fully custom work, there are many off-the-shelf designs that can be personalized for you with your choice of fonts, colors, text, and add-ons.
Green Quince has received WeddingWire’s Bride’s Choice Awards for 2012 and 2013 and is an Offbeat Bride Preferred Vendor.

Meet Your Designer, Jennifer Merrill
I’m a design and eco geek who loves the challenge of translating your ideas into a one-of-a-kind creation. I’m a trained graphic artist with a passion for letterpress printing. I infuse all of my work with lots of love and enjoy melding modern design with old school techniques for results that surprise and delight.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to travel the world, and I’ve had an amazing journey in my career from working internationally as a Nanny to MRI Brain Research to working in HR in the corporate world. The end result is that I have an eclectic and global modern style as well as a knack for relating to all kinds of people and understanding what they really want from their design. What’s a Green Quince Anyway?
You may be wondering about the name . . . what does “Green Quince” really mean? The “Green” part is a nod to eco-friendly roots. This business was started out of a love for fine stationery and a passion for the Earth. The preferred materials in the Green Quince studio are high in recycled content, but that’s just the beginning. Every business decision I make takes into account the impact on the Earth, from the location of the studio to the way I schedule print runs. This isn’t a passing fad; it’s a lifestyle. You can read more about the Green Quince green story here.
The “Quince”, (pron. \kwin(t)s\), which you can see at left, is an enduring symbol of love and marriage, and the beauty and color of the quince tree, blossom, and fruit are artistic inspirations. Here is an audio pronunciation for you. The ancient Greeks associated the quince with love, marriage, and fertility, and quinces were given as wedding gifts. You can’t eat quince raw because it’s hard and sour, but once it’s cooked down with sugar and lemon, the fruit turns a rosy color, and the flavor develops to perfection. If you ever have the opportunity to buy a fresh quince (or three), put them out on your counter for the most divine scent.
I can’t wait to connect with you! Contact me today, and I’ll get you on your way to some fresh, lovely, and Earth-friendly paper goods.
